Sero Project is a non-profit community development initiative with local and global reach seeking to strengthen neighborhoods and villages through orphan care, education, microfinance, revitalization, legal aid, and development projects.

Our local community is Memphis, TN where we are under the umbrella of Living Hope Ministries while we await our own 501c3 recognition.

Our global reach extends to the town of Eldoret, Kenya and the nearby village formally known as Cheramei (but popularly known as Jua Kali). Our work in Kenya includes orphan care, but we also engage local leaders to facilitate and improve education and to encourage professional development and entrepreneurship through microfinance, vocational training, and adult education.

In addition to Living Hope Ministries, Sero Project partners with Harvest International, Inc., located in Ocala, FL and Global Field Evangelism of Kenya to support orphan care and community development in Kenya.

Our mission is to develop and maintain sustainable local and global communities through innovative educational and development projects.

Sero Project goes on Safari

Sero Project is planning a trip to Kenya, East Africa, December 27, 2011 - January 6, 2012.  We are on a mission to encourage the children and caregivers of the Haven and Fresh Start homes; promote community development in the village of Jua Kali, and explore ways to come alongside Kenyans to ease the plight of street children in Eldoret town.  As we usually do on these trips, we'll also spend half a day on safari at one of Kenya's beautiful wild game parks.

If you're interested in going with us, contact Alan May, Sero Project's Global Operations Director, right away at alan@seroproject.org for more information.
